Found paper, held to the window, treated like film.
Held up to the kitchen light
Some negatives arrive by accident. A gas-station receipt, still curled from the register, caught the afternoon sun long enough to leave a trace.

The emulsion remembers what the eye forgot.

I keep these proofs in the same binder as the serious rolls. Process is not separate from the work—it is the work.
